The Learning Capability Design Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing training programmes to enhance capability and strategic skills, particularly in growth functions and commercial, digital and AI skills. This role requires a strategic approach to workforce development, ensuring learning delivers measurable business impact.

Description

  • Design and implement the strategy for building technical and strategic capabilities aligned to the organisation's evolution and growth.
  • Translate business strategy into clear, future-focused skills and capability plans.
  • A blended learning approach, bringing creativity and innovation to learning solutions eg. e-learning, workshops, academies, videos, coaching, on-the-job learning etc.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to identify current and future skills needs and shape scalable solutions.
  • Develop long-term capability roadmaps balancing immediate demands with future readiness.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, influencing decisions and guiding investment in skills development.
  • Own and maintain technical capability frameworks and skill taxonomies.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and leaders to design relevant, business-led learning solutions.
  • Drive modern learning approaches using AI and digital tools to deliver scalable, practical capability development.

Profile

  • Proven ability to build capability in line with strategic business priorities.
  • Experience designing enterprise-level capability solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing.
  • Understanding of skills frameworks and job architecture.
  • Experience with AI, digital and technology platforms.
  • Background operating in matrix organisations.
  • Understanding of accreditation, certification or professional standards in technical disciplines.
