Senior Finance Manager - Financial Accounts in Yorkshire

Job Description As Senior Finance Manager, you will lead a Financial Accounting team and ensure the delivery of accurate, robust and timely financial information across a complex international group. Michael Page Finance is partnering with one of our key clients, a large, complex international organisation, to recruit a Senior Finance Manager into its central finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to take a senior leadership role within a sophisticated group environment, with responsibility for financial accounting, reporting, controls and a team of finance professionals. Lead and develop a team within the Financial Accounting function. Oversee monthly financial accounting and reporting activities. Ensure robust balance sheet governance, reconciliations and working capital reporting. Manage intercompany, affiliate, fixed asset, inventory and lease accounting. Oversee cash, bank and treasury-related accounting activities. Lead the preparation of UK and international statutory accounts. Ensure compliance with SOX controls, accounting policies and wider governance requirements. Work closely with Financial Control, Treasury, Company Secretarial and external auditors. ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification with 3+ years' post-qualified experience. Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience. Experience preparing or auditing UK statutory accounts under IFRS, FRS 101 or FRS 102. Previous experience managing and developing a finance team. Excellent Excel skills.
