Description
- Develop and implement category strategies to maximise sales and profit.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms and improve product offerings.
- Work closely with marketing teams to align campaigns with category goals.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure effective inventory management.
- Provide regular performance reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve the customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Profile
A successful Category Manager should have:
- Experience in category management or a similar role, ideally in the retail or FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proven negotiation skills and experience working with suppliers.
- Good understanding of marketing strategies and customer behaviour.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for data analysis and reporting.
Job Offer
- Salary between Β£50,000 and Β£60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Permanent role based in Yorkshire.
