Our client is a well-established, medium-sized organisation within the Business Services sector. Offices based in W. Byfleet with very easy access via train, and free parking provided.
HYBRID: just 2 days in the office per week, and 3 from home.
Description
Payroll Specialist (6 month FTC - HYBRID)
- Working as part of a Payroll team of 5
- Fully in-house payroll of circa 3,000 employees
- Oversee the entire payroll process ensuring accurate and timely payment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies.
- Manage the relationship with HMRC and handle any queries.
- Prepare reports for senior management on payroll metrics.
- Participate in payroll system improvements and enhancements.
- Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues.
- Coordinate with the HR department on payroll-related matters.
Profile
A successful Payroll Specialist (6 month FTC - HYBRID) should have:
- Previuos experience in a busy Payroll department (ideally in-house, but bureau is also fine)
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, regulations and best practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Templa or Select Pay is advantageous but not essential.
Job Offer
Payroll Specialist (6 month FTC - HYBRID) offers
- A bae salary between £35,000-£40,000 per annum.
- HYBRID: just 2 days per week in the office, and 3 from home.
- Hours: 8am - 4pm (flexibility also offered)
