- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with relevant reporting standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes with precision and accuracy.
- Provide detailed analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members to promote professional growth.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and oversee general ledger operations.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- May be studying a professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance.
- Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with the leisure, travel & tourism sector is advantageous
