Description

  • Support the planning and delivery of quarterly financial reporting cycles, interim reporting and annual financial statements.
  • Assist with group consolidation activities and the preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts.
  • Prepare draft financial reporting outputs, board papers and supporting documentation.
  • Act as a key contact for external auditors, coordinating information requests and supporting audit activities.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and efficiencies.

Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
  • Ideally a 1st time mover from practice where you have experience preparing and/or auditing statutory financial statements
  • Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and reporting processes within a regulated environment.
  • Exposure to insurance, financial services or other regulated sectors would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
