Client Details: A well-established firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors with offices across the North West, including Widnes, Liverpool, Manchester and Chester. One of the region's leading independent practices, employing hundreds of staff and serving a diverse client base ranging from SMEs to large organisations.
Description:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines are consistently met.
- Accurately process payroll data, including client changes, within agreed timescales.
- Submit RTI Full Payment Submissions (FPS) on or before pay dates.
- Administer workplace pensions, including communications, opt-outs, uploads, and payments.
- Respond to client queries promptly, professionally, and accurately.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date records of all client communications and payroll activity.
- Monitor workflow systems and ensure daily task completion.
- Manage additional work requests, ensuring they are quoted and approved in advance.
- Support invoicing processes and ensure timely billing.
- Maintain compliance with internal procedures, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
Profile:
- Proven experience in a payroll role, ideally within a bureau or accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including RTI and workplace pensions.
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
