We are looking for a motivated Finance Assistant to join our established team at our Newton-le-Willows head office. Working within a team of eight, you will take ownership of a high-volume ledger of over 500 active accounts. This is a key role within the finance function, reporting directly to the Group FD and collaborating closely with senior stakeholders across Sales, IT, and Operations.

Description:
- Manage and actively chase a live debtor ledger of 500+ accounts
- Deliver improvements in collection times and customer experience
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives
- Support integration of credit control processes with wider business systems (e.g. B2B platforms, operations)
- Perform payment allocations, statement reconciliations, and credit note processing
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve queries efficiently
- Handle internal payment reconciliations and credit card processing
- Assist with new account setup and onboarding
