As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring outstanding debts are collected efficiently. Working within a robust and established finance function, you will play a key role in supporting cash flow and reducing aged debt.

Description
- Managing and maintaining a portfolio of customer accounts
- Chasing outstanding payments via telephone and email
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers
- Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries
- Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
- Monitoring aged debt and producing relevant reports
- Working closely with internal departments to resolve account issues
- Supporting month-end processes where required
- Ensuring all credit control activities are completed in line with company procedures
Profile
- Previous experience within a Credit Control position
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and results-driven approach
