An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a medium - large values-led organisation undergoing significant transformation and growth.
Reporting into the senior finance leadership team, you will lead the Accounts function, ensuring efficient processes delivering and a high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders. You'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, enhancing financial systems, and supporting the organisation's wider financial objectives.

Description
- Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Oversee the cash and banking function including cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments and authorisations are made on time with strict deadlines
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and resolve any payment discrepancies
- Monitor and improve accounts payable processes and systems
- Train and develop the accounts payable team ensuring KPIS and met and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of accounts payable data
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial efficiency.
- Support audits and ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
Profile
- A strong background in accounting or finance, particularly in accounts payable management
- Cash management or treasury experience
- Experience Managing a team of transactional finance staff
- Experience in shared services or not for profit is advantageous
- Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
