An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a medium - large values-led organisation undergoing significant transformation and growth.

Reporting into the senior finance leadership team, you will lead the Accounts function, ensuring efficient processes delivering and a high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders. You'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, enhancing financial systems, and supporting the organisation's wider financial objectives.

Description

  • Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Oversee the cash and banking function including cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations
  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments and authorisations are made on time with strict deadlines
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and resolve any payment discrepancies
  • Monitor and improve accounts payable processes and systems
  • Train and develop the accounts payable team ensuring KPIS and met and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of accounts payable data
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Support audits and ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.

Profile

  • A strong background in accounting or finance, particularly in accounts payable management
  • Cash management or treasury experience
  • Experience Managing a tea mod transactional finance staff
  • Experience in shared services or not for profit is advantageous
  • Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
