- Description
- End-to-end Payroll experience.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations.
- Oversea all Payroll processing activities.
- Take ownership of payroll accounting activities, including payroll journals, balance sheet reconciliations and control account management, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with the accounting and finance department on payroll-related matters.
- Prepare payroll reports and provide analysis as required.
- Year-end processes, including tax reporting and reconciliations.
- Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and practices.
- Manage a small Payroll team.

A successful Payroll Manager should have
- Experience in end-to-end payroll within a similar role.
- Experience of payroll reconciliations, controls and audit processes.
- Experience delivering payroll improvement and change initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience of managing a team is advantageous.
