I am pleased to be supporting a well established firm of chartered accountants in Bexhill with their recruitment of a Tax Advisor.
This role is for someone who can work closely with partners and the team on tax projects, and general tax matters, with some seniority for review and problem solving/answer finding for others. Applicants do not need to be experts in all stated areas of tax, but confident in problem solving, research and identifying tax issues. Any experience of Lloyds Underwriters, Trusts, High Net Worth Private Clients or is welcome. The role will include training where needed.
The applicant will need to train and review the work of more junior members of staff at times, and work closely with the tax partners on client facing tax planning projects and advisory work. Our client is a general practice firm, so the role will on occasion also include advice and work in relation to business clients, but the role is mainly Private Client focused. The role also includes tax compliance such as self-assessment tax returns, IHT returns, CGT returns etc.

- Candidates will ideally be ATT Qualified or CTA qualified
- Motivated and adaptive to work remotely
- Confident in written communication of tax planning, rules and implications to clients
