We're seeking a highly detailed and focused Tax Accountant to manage tax-related tasks within our Business Services department. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of private client tax accounting and laws.
Client Details: Our client is a large organisation located in Bristol, specialising in business services. They have a robust structure with multiple departments, each focusing on specific areas of expertise to deliver award-winning services to their clients.
Description:
- Preparing tax returns, along with IHT projects and trusts.
- Managing all tax-related internal and external queries.
- Assessing, managing, and minimising tax liabilities using thorough knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Checking data input or verifying totals on forms prepared by others to detect errors in arithmetic, data entry, or procedures.
- Furnishing internal departments with tax advice to support strategic decision-making.
- Liaising with tax authorities and providing tax audit support.
- Reviewing complex tax returns and associated work papers prepared by staff.
- Keeping track of industry trends and changes in tax law.
Profile: A successful Tax Accountant should have:
- ATT, CTA, ACCA or ACA qualified.
- An understanding of the HM Revenue & Customs rules and regulations.
