Description Principal Duties:

  • Take ownership of a varied personal tax compliance portfolio, including individuals, trusts, and estates, ensuring accuracy and full regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, including CGT 60-day reporting, maintaining high-quality documentation and audit-ready records.
  • Provide tailored tax advice and planning solutions to individuals, owner-managed businesses, and specialist sectors such as farming clients.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients and HMRC, resolving queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Review complex tax work prepared by accounts staff, providing technical oversight and ensuring accuracy.
  • Support advisory and research projects across capital taxes, including IHT, trusts, estates, and succession planning.
