Description
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Respond to queries from internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Provide general administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- AAT Level 3 qualified (minimum)
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar accounts role
- Based in the Swansea area - this is a hybrid role with some office presence required
- Confident with Excel and accounting software (Sage, Xero, or similar)
- A team player with great attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Ability and evidence of meeting deadlines
