Job Description A great opportunity for a qualified or finalist Financial Accountant to join a growing, multi-entity business in a broad role covering management accounts, balance sheet, VAT, cashflow and financial controls. With significant scope to take ownership and improve processes, the role offers a clear pathway towards Finance Manager while working within an ambitious and evolving finance function. We're working with a successful multi-entity business that is going through an exciting period of growth and investment. They're now looking for a Financial Accountant to join the team and take ownership of a broad range of financial accounting and reporting responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than a transactional role, with genuine scope to develop towards a Finance Manager position. Monthly management accounts and month-end Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls Group overhead analysis Statutory accounts and audit support Compliance and regulatory reporting This role would suit a 1st time mover from practice who has had exposure to accounts preparation and holds either the ACA or ACCA qualification. It would also suit someone industry qualified who has had experience across management accounts, VAT, multi-entity environments and experience with audit. 50,000-£55,000 per year + small annual bonus ~ Flexible start/finish times but please only apply if you're happy with being in office full time with an early finish on a Friday ~ Genuine Finance Manager progression ~25 days' holiday + bank holidays ~ Professional development opportunities
