Description
The key duties of the Audit & Assurance Senior will be:
- Lead audit assignments, ensuring all sections are completed to a high standard from planning to completion.
- Review the work of junior team members, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise during audits, ensuring compliance with UK practice standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, building strong working relationships and addressing their queries.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional client service.
- Prepare accurate and detailed audit documentation for review by senior management.
- Support the identification of risks and implement appropriate controls during audit engagements.
- Stay up to date with changes in audit regulations and professional standards.
Profile
A successful Audit & Assurance Senior should have:
- ACA, ACCA, or CA qualification, or be within 12 months of qualification.
- Experience in delivering audit assignments within a UK practice environment.
- Confidence in managing audit sections independently, from planning through to completion.
- Strong ability to review and provide feedback on the work of junior team members.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
Job Offer
THe Audit & Assurance Senior will come with:
- A salary dependent on the level of experience, ranging from £40,000 to £50,000.
- A permanent position in a professional services organisation based in Southampton.
