Job Description
This position will play a key role supporting major international power cable projects and advising the business on high-value infrastructure matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading negotiations of complex EPC contracts from tender stage through to execution.
- Advising on and negotiating project documentation, including submarine and terrestrial cable contracts, installation agreements, and subcontract arrangements.
- Supporting tendering, project delivery and commercial decision-making across the power cable division.
- The Successful Applicant
Suitable candidates will be lawyers who can operate autonomously in a project-driven environment and have experience negotiating complex engineering or infrastructure contracts.
Key requirements include
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) or lawyer from a common law jurisdiction.
- Approximately 10+ years' PQE.
- Strong experience negotiating high-value commercial contracts.
- Direct exposure to EPC projects, particularly within power, energy, utilities, construction or major infrastructure with a major focus on Offshore / Subsea projects.
- Knowledge of FIDIC and/or NEC contracts.
