This is a varied Accountant role owning the French entity and managing the French general accounting and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data.

Client Details: Our client brands and companies have been an international leader in their industry for over a 100 years. Michael Page is proud to be partnering with them on the recruitment of a Senior Accountant (French Speaking) to be based in Kingsbury NW9. Hybrid working available.

Description: As the Senior Accountant (French Speaking) based in Kingsbury NW9, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage French general accounting and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
  • Prepare and reconcile VAT returns.
  • Calculate corporate tax (IS), CVAE, and monitor tax compliance.
  • Manage and account for fixed assets.
  • Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure correct group mapping.
  • Process accounting transactions and supplier invoices: Receive, verify, and record supplier invoices in Yooz.
  • Code invoices in line with the company's accounting framework.
  • Manage payments: Monitor validation workflows in Yooz.
  • Prepare and execute supplier payments.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Perform bank postings and reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts: Create and manage auxiliary accounts.
