Description

  • Managing a portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnership.
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102/FRS 105.
  • Reviewing bookkeeping and management accounts prepared by junior team members.
  • Supervising, mentoring and developing Junior Accountants and Apprentices.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
  • Providing business advisory support, identifying opportunities to add value.
  • Reviewing VAT returns and supporting corporation tax compliance processes.
  • Ensuring assignments are completed within agreed budgets and deadlines.
  • Assisting Partners with workflow management and practice development.

Profile

  • ACA / ACCA qualified.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards.
  • Experience reviewing work and supervising junior staff.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent customer service and the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships.
