An exciting full time opportunity for a permanent Payroll and Finance Assistant role based in Sandbach, Cheshire.
Payroll
- Run monthly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll, including salary, bonus, deductions, pensions, and statutory adjustments.
- Collaborate with the People Team and Director of Finance to review monthly amendments and obtain approvals.
- Process employee payroll payments through NatWest and Royal London for pensions and salary sacrifices.
- Produce month-end payroll reports, set up PAYE payments to HMRC, and generate P60s at year-end.
- Prepare and manage bonus estimates and final bonus statements, including bonus sacrifice payments.
Finance
- Collate weekly timesheet information, update utilisation spreadsheets, and submit to supplier portals.
- Track outstanding purchase orders and overdue invoices.
- Raise monthly invoices, process receipts, and reconcile.
- Process consultant weekly expense claims.
- Manage purchase ledger: record supplier invoices, approve, and prepare payment runs.
