Description
- Lead month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
- Prepare technical accounting entries, including tax adjustments and provisions.
- Deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders.
- Partner with stakeholders to provide commercial insight and financial support.
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and strong financial controls.
- Support forecasting, budgeting and re forecasting activities.
- Prepare VAT returns and statutory accounts (IFRS & FRS 102).
- Support audits, tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
- Drive process improvements, automation and finance transformation initiatives.
- Assist with acquisitions, due diligence and integration projects.
Profile
- A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and management accounts.
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
