Michael Page are working with with a highly reputable, industry leading business going through a period of growth. They are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the team at an exciting time for the business.

Description

The key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will include:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time
  • Prepare and process invoices and credit notes
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Ad hoc admin duties supporting the finance team

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Proficient using accounting software ideally Sage
  • High attention to detail and levels of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
