Based from near Bromsgrove offices, you will provide bookkeeping services, prepare VAT returns, payroll and provide other services to varied sole trader, partnership and limited company SMEs and OMBs of varying size and industry sector.

A specialist accountancy, tax, and business management firm that works with a broad range of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, sports professionals, entertainers, and growing businesses. The firm has built a strong reputation for providing tailored accounting, tax, and advisory services.

Joining as Senior Bookkeeper, you will primarily work on Xero software. You will also oversee and assist more junior/trainee staff in a mentoring and review capacity, helping in their technical development. You will work closely with managers and directors as a key addition.

Profile:

  • AAT qualified or qualified by experience, with a strong technical grounding in bookkeeping
  • 2-3+ years' experience within an accountancy practice, or operating as a self-employed senior bookkeeper
  • Proven ability to manage bookkeeping for a varied client base, including SMEs and owner-managed businesses
  • Comfortable working within a team environment while building a stable, long-term role
  • Strong attention to detail with experience across day-to-day bookkeeping services and financial record maintenance
