Description
The Accounts Payable Senior duties will include:
- Process and verify a high volume of supplier invoices with accuracy.
- Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Maintain and update accounts payable records in the accounting system.
- Assist in preparing payment runs and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Respond to supplier inquiries regarding payments and outstanding invoices.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice-related issues.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Senior should have the following experience/qualities:
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
Job Offer
The Accounts Payable Senior will receive:
- Competitive salary range of £28,000 to £33,000 per annum, depending on experience.
