Job Description As a Junior Finance Business Partner in Reading, you'll play a key role in the public sector, assisting with financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to help guide decision-making. This temporary role is all about ensuring the smooth financial operation of the organisation by providing accurate and timely financial insights. Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting. Support the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Review and analyse financial data to identify trends and variances. Help implement financial controls and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Work closely with senior finance professionals to support strategic planning activities. Respond to ad-hoc financial queries and provide insights as required. A successful Junior Finance Business Partner should have: A background in accounting or finance, with relevant qualifications or certifications. Experience in financial planning, budgeting, or analysis. Proficiency in financial software and tools, with a good understanding of spreadsheets. An organised and detail-oriented approach to handling financial data. Knowledge of public sector financial regulations and practices is advantageous.
