A leading and growing accountancy practice with an excellent reputation within the farming and rural sector areas is looking for a Qualified Senior Accountant to join their successful team in a role based at the firm's Taunton offices. Joining as a Qualified Senior Accountant, you will take responsibility for the provision of accounting, tax and added value planning and advisory project services to a mixed and varied client base of agricultural and rural sector focused clients. You will carve a key role in this growing department, with increasing responsibility and client contact, with a route to management and genuine prospects for career progression on offer. There is scope for a client-facing role, developing relationships and identifying areas for advice while working with clients and the wider team on the delivery of added value work.

For this Qualified Senior Accountant role, you will be ACA, ACCA, CTA etc qualified. You will have a background in accountancy practice developed within any of a large Top Tier/Mid Tier/Top 50 firm background, and/or within a regional independent firm background of any size. You may have direct, recent expertise in agricultural sector accounting providing accounts/tax services, or have worked across wider-ranging industry sectors but bring a clear, demonstrable link to the sector through family background, with a genuine interest in specialising in this sector.
