A growing firm of chartered accountants based in Plymouth is searching for a Qualified Accountant to join their team providing mixed accounts/tax and wider services to a varied portfolio of clients, with opportunity to progress within a leading firm of accountants.

Based in Plymouth, the firm's clients are wide ranging in sector, turnover and industry range to cover smaller sole traders and partnerships, alongside a large client base of OMBs and SMEs, up into the multi millions in turnover, larger corporates, groups and charities, not for profit and other clients. The firm provides an opportunity where the right professional can have a clear career progression path within a supportive culture and team-focused environment. Full or part-time hours can be accommodated around the background of the right candidate.

Joining as a Qualified Accountant based from the firm's Plymouth offices, you will manage the hands-on delivery and review of year-end accounts, tax and wider general accountancy practice services to a portfolio of clients across varied industries and turnover ranges. You will develop client relationships, taking on increasing client portfolio and management responsibility, working on wider advisory/business services and delivering wider project work as you develop your career within this firm. A progression path is on offer and there is opportunity to carve an influential key role within this firm.

For this Qualified Accountant role, you will be ACA / ACCA qualified with a career background within accounts/tax and general accountancy practice service delivery to wide-ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within a UK accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to the Senior or Manager levels and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity where you can progress and develop in a growing chartered firm of accountants.

Circa £32,000 - £40,000 plus, dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
