Job Description As a Payroll Manager on an interim basis, you'll oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. Based in Preston, this role is essential to keeping the financial side of the business running smoothly. Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax and employment laws. Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Prepare and submit payroll reports to internal and external stakeholders. Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure data confidentiality. Assist with audits and provide payroll-related documentation as required. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations. Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary updates. A successful Payroll Manager should have: Proven experience managing payroll processes and a payroll team. Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation. Proficiency in relevant accounting or payroll software. Interim role for 3 months initially.
