Description
Key responsibilities of the Audit Assistant Manager:
- Leading audit assignments for a varied client portfolio.
- Managing fieldwork and reviewing audit files.
- Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships.
- Supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Assisting with audit planning, budgeting and resource allocation.
- Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client service.
- Supporting Managers and Partners with business development initiatives where appropriate.
Profile
The ideal Audit Assistant Manager will have:
- ACA or ACCA qualification (or be finalist level with relevant experience).
- A strong background within audit gained in an accountancy practice environment.
- Experience leading audits and supervising junior staff.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
- A proactive approach and desire to progress within a growing firm.
