Description
- Assist in processing payrolls across different pay cycles (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
- Input and check payroll data such as hours worked, overtime, and basic pay
- Support payroll runs by preparing information and carrying out basic checks
- Help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
- Maintain employee payroll records, including starters, leavers, and changes
- Process basic updates such as address changes, bank details, and tax codes
- Ensure payroll documents are saved and organised correctly
- Respond to basic payroll queries from employees (e.g., payslips, payments)
- Escalate more complex queries to senior team members
- Provide a helpful and professional service to employees
Profile
- Basic knowledge of payroll processes or legislation
- Experience using payroll systems or Excel
