This part-time Finance Manager role offers an excellent opportunity to support the financial operations of a not-for-profit organisation. The successful candidate will oversee accounting and finance tasks on a temporary basis, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
This not-for-profit organisation operates within the Oxfordshire and Berkshire area and is recognised for its impactful work within the community. As a small-sized team, they focus on delivering meaningful outcomes while maintaining a professional approach to their operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for review by senior management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and organisational policies.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely transactions.
- Provide financial advice to support decision-making within the organisation.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits.
- Maintain accurate financial records and systems for reporting purposes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting and finance department.

Profile:
- A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
- Professional qualifications in finance or accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or be Qualified By experience.
- This is an office based role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple financial processes effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Job Offer:
A competitive daily rate of approximately £202 to £247, depending on experience.
