This part-time Finance Manager role offers an excellent opportunity to support the financial operations of a not-for-profit organisation. The successful candidate will oversee accounting and finance tasks on a temporary basis, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

This not-for-profit organisation operates within the Oxfordshire and Berkshire area and is recognised for its impactful work within the community. As a small-sized team, they focus on delivering meaningful outcomes while maintaining a professional approach to their operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for review by senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and organisational policies.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely transactions.
  • Provide financial advice to support decision-making within the organisation.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and systems for reporting purposes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting and finance department.

Profile:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Professional qualifications in finance or accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or be Qualified By experience.
  • This is an office based role.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple financial processes effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Job Offer:

A competitive daily rate of approximately £202 to £247, depending on experience.
