As a result of 18 months of highly targeted business development activities, this firm is set to experience significant growth in the next 3 years and therefore looking to recruit an Audit RI to support with this. The right individual for this role will be signing off reports at a mid-market accounting firm already, or be an aspirational audit leader that is looking for an opportunity to rapidly accelerate their career and earning potential.
Client Details: A privately owned accounting and advisory firm based in Nottingham but operating across the wider Midlands region.
Description: Working closely with the owner, you will lead the audit department and be responsible for:
- the development of the team
- attraction of new talent
- delivering / overview of technical work
- client stakeholder management
- budgeting for the department
- business development activities for the firm
Profile: The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant with 10+ years of UK accounting experience, comfortable with IFRS and potentially UK GAAP as well. You may already be registered as an RI elsewhere and have prior experience signing off reports or you could be an experienced Manager / Senior Manager looking for their first opportunity at this level.
