Description
The Finance Officer's duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support the Accounting & Finance team with budget preparation and monitoring.
- Respond to financial queries from internal and external stakeholders promptly.
- Assist with payroll processing and related documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial operations.
Profile
A successful Finance Officer should have:
- Demonstrated experience in a finance role, and experience with the general ledger and management accounts preparation
- An understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
