- Oversee and manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring accurate processing across all employee groups.
- Keep payroll data, monthly inputs, and statutory records up to date and well-organised.
- Partner with external payroll providers, reviewing outputs and monitoring service quality.
- Handle payroll queries and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Work with HR and Finance on reconciliations, reporting, and payroll-related tasks.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll activities.
- Assist with personnel cost tracking, analysis, and forecasting.
- Provide payroll information for audits and internal reviews.
- Help maintain payroll processes, documentation, and procedural updates.
Profile
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Payroll / Payroll Specialist role.
- Strong understanding of UK payroll rules and statutory reporting.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll providers.
- Confident handling payroll-related reporting and data analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and good overall system proficiency.
- Highly organised, detail-driven, and comfortable working to deadlines.
