An opportunity for a Part Time Management Accountant has arisen in a leading retail, design and creative business, based in South West London (Fulham). The role is focused on managing the day-to-day operations of the finance function, as well as the production of the management accounts. The client are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join the team as soon as possible. The role is 50% and they are looking for a candidate to start ASAP.

Client Details

Our client is a highly-regarded player in the retail and design industry. They have a small team based in Fulham and are known for their high-quality products and emphasis on excellent customer service. The role will report directly into the Part-Time Finance Director, and the view is for this candidate to run the end to end accounts function once they are settled. The successful candidate will also work very closely with the Managing Director/Owner of the business.

Description

The successful Part Time Management Accountant will:

  • Be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Driving budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Managing the end to end Accounts Payable ledger
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Sales ledger
  • Daily bank reconciliations across 3 different multi-currency accounts (GBP, EURO, USD)
  • Credit card reconciliations and staff expense processing
  • Preparation and processing of the payment runs (twice per month)
  • Ad hoc payments
  • Payroll Admin
  • Ad hoc project accounting

Profile

A successful Part Time Management Accountant should have:

  • Prior experience in a similar role (sole Management Accountant or Senior Accountant role) within an SME
  • Strong experience in management accounting
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • MUST have a prior working knowledge of the system Quickbooks
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Excel skills

Job Offer

  • £40,000 - £50,000 (Full time equivalent salary)
  • 28 days holiday
