Description:

  • Monitor financial processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead the annual budget and reforecast processes.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to gather data, set assumptions and provide actionable insights to guide decisions.
  • Build the framework for collecting, collating and communicating whole organisation budget and forecast business information.
  • Take overall responsibility for the development and delivery of regular financial management information for a range of stakeholders.
  • Develop organisational forward-looking capabilities in financial analysis to meet good practice, including across income and expenditure, project and fund accounting, and cashflow analysis.
  • Actively engage in the production of key financial reports and analyses, ensuring a hands-on approach to delivering accurate and timely information that supports decision-making.
  • Lead engagement with all users of financial information, ensuring financial planning and analysis meets evolving organisational needs and good practice.
  • Manage restricted fund accounting and ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial reporting to enable grant applications and reporting in compliance with Charity and other regulation.

Profile: A successful FP&A Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in or with the not-for-profit sector is advantageous.
