Description
- Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, from invoice processing to timely payments
- Reconcile account balances to maintain accuracy and financial integrity
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; negotiate favourable payment terms when needed
- Prepare and present payment status reports and expense forecasts to support budgeting
- Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and audit standards
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and insights
- Contribute to broader accounting functions and special projects as needed
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
