Description
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes effectively.
- Oversee accounts payable and general ledger functions.
- Oversee stock payments and other highly technical accounting areas.
- Provide detailed financial reports and analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise financial operations.
- Act as point of contact for external auditors.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a productive team environment.
- Manage Payroll team and supervise monthly payroll for 6 international jurisdictions.
Profile
A successful Accounting Manager should have:
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- ACA qualified
- Big 4 audit experience
- Intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, multicurrency (6 jurisdictions), payroll, financial reporting, stock based compensation
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Pragmatic in your prioritization in a highly nimble and fast paced environment.
