This is a newly created Financial Accountant position to support with company growth and would suit a part or finalist level qualified Accountant.

This opportunity is with a well-established organisation based in South Leicestershire. Due to recent growth over the past couple of years, they are now looking to add a Financial Accountant to their team. They offer a hybrid, flexible approach to working with flexible working hours and options to work from home.

The Financial Accountant's duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax returns and audits.
  • Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes to achieve financial objectives.
  • Identify process improvements to streamline financial reporting and operations.
