The Finance Manager, based in Leeds, is a critical position within an international service company, requiring a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset in accounting and finance for a period of 12 months initially.

Our client is a well-established large organisation in the business service industry, based in Leeds. You'll be focusing on monthly closing and reporting of books and records, related account reconciliations, cost accruals, analysis of financial statement variances.

  • Prepare and present financial reports and statements.
  • Support monthly reporting to the parent company, statutory accounts, and tax returns.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure efficient and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with various business units to have a thorough understanding of reporting requirements and business needs.
  • Prepare complex journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting packages.
  • Undertake balance sheet and P&L reviews, including variance analysis, to provide meaningful insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Assess and manage financial risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
