My client is looking for a Head Office Accountant to join them on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. You will be responsible for managing the financial accounting and reporting as well as managing inter-company transactions and having the opportunity to document and improve processes.

Description
As Head Office Accountant you will be responsible for managing the overhead costs for the Group. Specific responsibilities will include:
· Financial Accounting and Reporting - maintain accuracy for the Head Office Accounts including balance sheet, cashflow and p&l accounts
· Preparation of the management accounts pack and associated commentary
· Manage inter-company transactions, ensuring transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
· Assist with the preparation of the Head Office budgets and forecasts, liaising with internal stakeholders and tracking performance against budget
· Monitor cash flow and assist with cash flow management
· VAT and Corporation tax preparation
There will also be an opportunity for the right person to document process and making recommendations for improving those processes.
Profile
My client is looking for a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong background in managing month-end processes and statutory accounting, ideally with experience of inter-company transactions. You should also have experience of creating monthly management reporting packs.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract initially - there may be the opportunity of a permanent role for the right person. You should be available to start immediately or at short notice, and be able to travel to the office in West Kent 3 days per week.
Job Offer
Up to £60,000 dependent on experience
