The Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting strategic decision making through financial planning, budget setting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting. The role focuses on delivering high quality insights and performance analysis.

Duties and tasks of the Management Accountant:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts
- Act as a finance business partner to operational teams, providing financial guidance and challenge
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis and create detailed forecasts
- Present and prepare financial results and insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial plans and quarterly re forecasts
- Support the development of cost models to improve profitability analysis
- Develop financial models and cost saving initiatives
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance financial understanding and accountability
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A strong background in accounting or finance, ideally within a relatively large and complex organisation
- Proficiency in analysis and creating complex reports
- The ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with different departments effectively
- A relevant professional qualification, such as ACCA, or CIMA (part or fully qualified)
