Client Details: My client are a major international business based in Bristol and are seeking an experienced senior finance leader to take ownership of its global lease portfolio. They are clear market leaders in their field.
Description: The responsibilities within this role:
- Oversight of all lease related activity on a global scale, ensuring consistent governance and ownership of the full end-to-end lease processes, and effective control throughout the full lease lifecycle.
- Partner with the senior leadership team to shape and influence lease vs buy decisions and provide insight into financial and commercial implications.
- Full accountability for IFRS 16 reporting and ensuring accurate balance sheet recognition and high-quality lease related disclosures across the business.
- Oversee the identification, measurement, and ongoing management of right of use assets and corresponding lease liabilities ensuring integrity of valuation, remeasurement, and lifecycle management.
- Own the relationship with internal and external audit for lease related matters.
- Provide senior oversight of lease contract governance, including rent reviews, escalations, renewals, modifications, and more.
