Description
The Bookkeeper duties will include:
- Accurately record and manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable in both Sterling and Euros.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and ledgers.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Assist the leadership team in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Manage the accounts assistant supporting with their personal development
- Respond promptly to financial queries and provide accurate information as needed.
- Adhoc duties as and when necessary
Profile
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
- A background in accounting or finance, ideally within the Engineering industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to interpret and analyse financial data.
- A solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
