Michael Page is working with a long‑standing client in North Leeds seeking a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. The client looks for an active ACCA or CIMA student motivated to finish exams and advance their career. This is a great opportunity for a Part Qualified or ACCA/CIMA/ACA finalist to join a high‑performing finance team. The client is a well‑known player in the industry with a top‑quality working culture and clear progression pathways.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
  • Support the reconciliation of balance‑sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Assist with maintaining the fixed asset register and processing depreciation.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice management.
  • Support the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responses.

Qualifications

  • Actively studying towards ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualifications.
  • Previous experience in a fast‑paced, month‑end related role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
