Michael Page are exclusively partnering with a business in Leeds City Centre who are looking to add an Assistant Management Accountant to their growing finance team. My client is looking for a proactive, driven individual who has a strong transactional finance foundation, who is looking for long term progression into month end management accounts. This role is perfect for an Assistant Accountant looking to grow their skillset in a progressive business, or for a progressive Accounts Assistant with a positive attitude wanting to gain more month end exposure. My client is a rapidly growing business in their industry, known for providing a top quality working culture with clear progression pathways for their employees.

Description

  • Manage end to end Accounts Payable processes
  • Processing invoices, weekly payment runs, receipts, supplier notes
  • Manage end to end Accounts Receivable processes
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts; accruals, prepayments, journals etc.
  • Support the reconciliation of balance sheets and bank accounts.
  • Support in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide insights to the management team.
  • Work closely with other departments providing finance support
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and projects.

Profile

  • Have gained relevant experience in similar Assistant Accountant, or progressive Accounts Assistant role
  • Finance and Accounting graduates preferred but not essential
  • Have an aspiration to study ACCA or CIMA
  • A keen attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and personal development
  • A proactive attitude towards learning
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

Job Offer
