Description
- Manage the full Accounts Receivable process, including invoicing, payment allocation, and credit control.
- Monitor and chase outstanding payments professionally to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Maintain accurate customer records in Xero.
- Ensure VAT compliance across the UK and European markets. We have a UK and Netherlands VAT registration. Previous experience in either or both is an advantage, but training can be given.
- Assist with month-end reporting, reconciliations, and analysis of AR balances.
- Support the Financial Controller with ad-hoc financial tasks and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, events, operations) to resolve billing issues quickly and accurately.
Profile
- Experience in a finance or accounts administration role (AP/AR exposure beneficial).
- May be studying towards an accountancy qualification (AAT)
- Familiarity with accounting software - Xero experience a plus.
- Some understanding of VAT and accounting is a plus
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent numeracy and good written communication skills essential
- Confident communicator face-to-face and with good telephone skills, who enjoys working with different teams.
- Friendly with a "can-do" attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
