Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Group Tax Manager who will be responsible for managing and controlling the company's tax matters, ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to strategic planning. The successful candidate will be working closely with the finance department and other teams to optimise the tax position of this thriving retail company.

Description

  • Overseeing the preparation and submission of tax returns for the UK and Internationally.
  • Contributing to the strategic planning of the company with regards to tax.
  • Managing internal and external tax audits.
  • Providing insightful tax advice and guidance to senior management.
  • Developing tax strategies to optimise the company's tax position.
  • Ensure the Group Transfer Pricing policy is embedded, maintained, and fit for purpose across jurisdictions.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and laws.
  • Working closely with the finance department on tax-related matters.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax obligations

Profile

A successful Group Tax Manager should have:

  • Professional certification, CTA, ATT, ACA or ACCA
  • Sound knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience in tax management
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
